journey began in adversity, when a Spanish family, facing hardship, left their homeland and settled in Mexico. There, they opened a grocery store that became a beacon of community and sustenance. Two grandmothers welcomed friends and neighbors daily, a tradition that continues to inspire Zeru's hospitality. This legacy of warmth and community has made Zeru one of Miami's premier Spanish restaurants, specializing in Basque and Mediterranean cuisine.

Located at 1395 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131, Zeru Miami offers lunch Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 3:00 pm, with a menu priced at $44, including an appetizer, main, and dessert or beverage. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday from 6:30 to 10:30 pm, and a tasting menu is available during opening hours for $140 with wine pairing. A summer happy hour runs on weekdays from 5:30 to 9 pm. Zeru Miami is closed on Sundays during the summer.



Zeru Miami boasts a talented team led by Chef Israel Aretxiga, who brings 15 years of experience in traditional Spanish cuisine from Grupo Ituarte. Alejandro ‘Alex’ Moredia Valek, with over a decade of restaurant management experience across three countries, oversees operations with a commitment to excellence. Chef Christian Medellin Palomino, trained at the Ambrosia Culinary Center and Mugaritz Restaurant in Spain, brings his passion for cooking to Zeru. Chef Martin Loyola, with a rich background in Mexican cuisine and banquet management, rounds out the team with his expertise and leadership skills.
