There are leaders who follow trends, and then there are those who quietly, confidently restructure the culture around them. Juanita Landrau
belongs unmistakably to the second category.
A CEO, producer, and mother, Landrau is a creative force who has spent the last decade redefining community, connection, and experiential event design in New York City and beyond. As the founder of multiple groundbreaking platforms—including Eroticanycevents, ANL NYC, and Queerotica NYC she has become a visionary voice for safe exploration, empowerment, and joy in spaces that are too often overlooked or misrepresented.
Her entry into the world of creative entrepreneurship began more than ten years ago, shaped by long nights in the entertainment landscape, countless conversations, and a deep understanding of what people were seeking—but not finding. “The soul was missing,” she reflects. “People were inside clubs staring at their phones, buying sections and bottles instead of connecting with the world around them.” For Landrau, the answer wasn’t to abandon nightlife, it was to elevate it. To bring intention, culture, and community back into the experience.

BUILDING MULTIPLE WORLDS, EACH WITH A PURPOSE
The creation of By Juanita, ANL NYC, and Queerotica NYC came from a personal and powerful mission: to establish curated spaces where people could feel welcomed, seen, and understood without fear of judgment. Years of witnessing inconsistency, bias, phobias, and lack of professionalism in the industry fueled her determination to build something better, something rooted in safety and authenticity.
Each of her communities speaks to a different side of her identity and leadership. They are uniquely crafted—not as copies of one another, but as individual worlds designed with specific audiences, aesthetics, and emotional experiences in mind. “I wanted to lift generational curses,” she says, acknowledging that her own upbringing lacked the space to express, question, or explore freely. Today, she creates the very environments she once needed: places where individuals can step into themselves with confidence and belonging. THE BALANCING ACT OF A MULTIDIMENSIONAL WOMAN
Landrau wears many hats, CEO, mother, producer and it is a balance she freely admits is challenging. Her career thrives at night while her son’s schedule thrives during the day, requiring a level of precision and dedication few can master. Administrative work fills the mornings; creative production flows after dark. When her son is with family, she chooses event dates strategically to ensure that love, structure, and presence remain the foundation of her home.
But she doesn’t do it alone. Her trusted assistant, Delta, has become an essential part of her world, an anchor who handles last-minute tasks, co-hosting responsibilities, and administrative needs. “Life gets easier when you let go of the fear that everyone is out to betray you,” she says. “But you still keep your guard just enough.”

HER MISSION: SAFE EXPLORATION, MENTAL WELLNESS & TRUE COMMUNITY
Every experience curated by Landrau carries a message: exploration should always feel safe, consent is an essential form of respect, and everyone deserves a sense of belonging. She integrates mental health resources, LGBTQ+ affirming support, and community-driven values into her events, partnering with counselors who understand the lifestyle and its nuances on both personal and professional levels.
Her productions are guided by three core elements, sensuality, empowerment, and self-expression. For Landrau, sensuality is not about provocation; it is about grounding oneself in truth. Empowerment transforms vulnerability into strength. Self-expression becomes the bridge between art and liberation. Her aesthetic is not visual alone, it is emotional, cultural, and deeply human.
A SELF-MADE MOTIVATOR
Unlike many industry leaders who credit mentors or collaborators, Landrau’s greatest inspiration is herself. This self-reliance was forged through years of witnessing misaligned motives and misguided advice. One community leader once told her: “Do less.” Instead, she did more, much more. And it paid off.
Her commitment led her to meaningful industry connections, collaborations with public figures, and the creation of spaces that genuinely impact lives. Authenticity, not ambition alone, is the catalyst of her success.

A MOMENT THAT CAPTURED EVERYTHING
During the two-year anniversary celebration of her Eroticanycevents community, guests raised a midnight toast and began sharing stories of transformation. Some found partners. Some found lifelong friends. Others, stability and comfort during mental-health challenges. Listening to the testimonies moved Landrau to tears. “We all got each other,” she says. “Others think about profit. I think about togetherness. We are not the same.”
It was during this celebration that she realized just how much her work had changed lives—including her own. She even met her best friend through the community, a relationship now approaching two years.
WHAT’S NEXT: A GLOBAL EXPERIENCE
In January 2026, Eroticanycevents will embark on a multi-city tour, bringing the signature Juanita experience to Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, and more. The tour will offer immersive, educational, and interactive experiences designed to guide people toward deeper understanding of themselves and their desires.
Her New York-based events continue monthly, featuring social gatherings, workshops, and curated nightlife intended to rebuild connection in a world that often rushes past it.

A MESSAGE FOR WOMEN, ESPECIALLY MOTHERS
Her advice is powerful:
“Listen to yourself.”
Do not shrink. Do not stop. Do not let others dim your brilliance.
And to fellow mothers: your children already believe in you, now you must believe in yourself. Leave them with generational mental wealth. Show them the strength of choosing your own path.

THE LEGACY SHE PLANS TO LEAVE
Looking ahead, Juanita Landrau envisions a legacy built on authenticity, community, and freedom. She hopes to redefine how society views self-expression, removing shame and centering empowerment in its place.
Her goal is simple yet profound:
To leave the world more open, more connected, more compassionate, and more human than she found it.
Through her productions, her leadership, and her communities, she is already well on her way.
